The city of Seoul has opened a contest to find a distinctive souvenir that signifies the best the South Korean capital has to offer.
It’s also aiming to help small and med-sized design enterprises and provide opportunities to up-and-coming designers.
Any designs related to the city’s history, industry or culture can be submitted. The winning souvenirs will be sold at stores around the city and winners will take home more than 13,000U.S. dollars in prize money.
The first round of applications runs through July 16th. There will then be another round and 28 people in total will win awards.
