SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, FEB 18: (No charge for the supply, release, or publication of the photograph. The photos are allowed for editorial and commercial use, and the image is retouched with color modifications.)

Centered around Seoullo 7017, Seoul has been pursuing the urban regeneration of Jungnim-dong, Seogye-dong, and Hoehyeon-dong. The city has purchased deteriorated houses and buildings in those areas. It has been refurbishing them according to each space’s traits while maintaining the accumulated time, memories, and meanings that they hold to establish eight core facilities that will play the role of being the priming water for urban regeneration. The urban regeneration spaces infuse new life into the old alleys around the Seoul Station with residents’ and travelers’ participation.
