Trends in tourism and travel for the most part has switched to online content, focusing on safety and therapy, and narrowed to small-group tours due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In line with such trends, the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) and the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) designated November as “Visit Seoul Month,” and are presenting diverse online Seoul travel content.
The SMG and the STO will upload video content under the themes of “MBTI Trips,” “Hanok Dog-guest,” “Seoul Travel” and “Camping Stay,” introducing new tourism trends of safety and therapy as well as online experiencec and individual tourism. In particular, it will offer colorful charms and values of Seoul by introducing the city’s popular attractions, culture and entertainment incorporating the keywords of “MBTI,” “pets,” “camping,” and more that are trending among the Millennial and Gen Z audience.
[MBTI Trips] This episode takes on the form of an MBTI personality test that is trending among Millennials and Gen Z. Find out about Seoul travel courses for E-types and I-types, and discover interesting activities.
[Hanok Dog-guest] This episode introduces various travel courses that include pet-friendly hanok guesthouses in Seochon as well as activities that you can do with your pet.
[Seoul Travel] This episode will unfold stories hidden in all corners of Seoul that tell its historical values as well as the lives and memories of modern and contemporary Seoul.
[Camping Stay] This episode offers an opportunity to enjoy camping and shake off the suffocating daily life at home. You can experience content packed with vivid landscapes of autumn colors and bustling sounds of camping destinations.
