The 18th Seoul International Eco Film Festival (SEFF), which features various environment-related works from around the world, will be held from Thu, Jun. 3 to Wed, Jun 9, 2021.
The opening ceremony will take place at 6 PM on Thu, Jun. 3 at the Rachel Carson Hall of the Korea Green Foundation with no on-site audience, and the digital screening will be livestreamed via SEFF’s YouTube channel.
A total of 64 films from 25 countries will be screened; the opening film Who We Were (2021) by Marc Bauder is a documentary that observes a sparkling meeting of six contemporary thinkers and scientists.
Those interested in the festival can book a reservation in advance on the official SEFF website (http://seff.kr) by Fri, Jun. 4 and get free tickets to watch the films at Megabox Seongsu.
You can watch the films online on the official website as well. In addition, 66 Metres (2020) and Spread Your Wings (2019) will be screened on MBC TV on Sat, Jun. 5 and Thu, Jun. 10, respectively.
This year’s 18th SEFF will provide the opportunity to not only watch various films, but also to participate in diverse events, such as the “No More Plastic” campaign and talks with filmmakers and environment experts.
