The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will be holding the 2021 F/W Seoul Fashion Week online for six days from Mon, Mar. 22 to Sat, Mar. 27.
For this year’s Seoul Fashion Week, the interiors of national museums will become the runway for the first time and the fashion show will be held against the background of the Nation Museum of Korea’s relics and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art’s collection. It will combine K-culture and K-fashion, and be streamed via YouTube and other platforms to a global audience, expected to attract the attention of the international community.
Seoul’s attractions will turn into runways for this year’s Seoul Fashion Week as well, including attractions where you can feel Seoul’s history, culture and nature, such as Seonyudo Park, Mapo/Ichon/Ttukseom/Gwangnaru Hangang Park areas, and Oil Tank Culture Park, a place that was born through urban regeneration.
Runway media will be shot in advance by professional production teams using various indoor and outdoor spaces and making unique videos using drones for outdoor footage.
An online B2B trade show will also be held to promote and connect domestic designers with leading buyers of overseas markets, and live commerce for ordinary consumers will be expanded compared to last year.
You can tune in and watch the 2021 Seoul Fashion Week on its official website (http://www.seoulfashionweek.org) and other platforms, such as YouTube, NAVER TV, tvND and TVING. For the detailed schedule, please visit the Seoul Fashion Week official website.
