The city of Seoul will provide 80 U.S. dollars’ worth of grocery vouchers to households with elementary to high school students. The decision is aimed to minimize the damage inflicted on school meal catering businesses due to the delayed start to the new semester. The city will use the money to provide all students with vouchers for 25 dollars’ worth of rice as well as 25 dollars’ worth of vegetables and meat. The remaining 30 dollars can be spent in the Nonghyup online mall. The vouchers must be used by the end of July.
