  • Seoul Plaza Ice Skating Rink

  • First opened in 2004, the Seoul Plaza Ice Skating Rink is 5,176㎡ in size and provides easy access to winter sports options, right in the heart of the city, for locals and tourists alike. The rink opened for this winter season last year, and will stay open until the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony. The entrance fee is 1,000 won, and foreign visitors with a Discover Seoul Pass are granted free access to the rink. Safety helmets and knee pads are also available for use, free of charge, to ensure the safety of guests. Of particular note, visitors can learn about the Olympic sport Curling in the Curling Experience Zone, which was set up to show support for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Various other events and programs related to the winter games will also be taking place.

    • - Hours of Operation: Weekdays 10:00–21:30, Weekends and Holidays 10:00–23:00
    • ▶ 8 skating sessions on weekdays (Sun–Thu) and weekends (Fri–Sat). 9 sessions during holidays.
    • ※ There is a 30-minute break between sessions
    • - Entrance Fee: 1,000 won per hour per entry (includes skating equipment rental fees; entrance is free of charge for foreigners with a Discover Seoul Pass)
