    The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is opening its V-Commerce (video commerce) Studio equipped with 360-degree camera equipment to capture 3D photos for small apparel/fashion businesses with the increase in contactless e-commerce due to COVID-19.

    V-Commerce Studio is popular to the extent that about 2,200 companies have used it within six months since its opening in July last year. The SMG newly installed 360-degree camera equipment in the studio that can capture 3D photographs before operating the studio in full swing.

    Advanced technology 360-degree cameras enable users to take detailed photographs of clothes and models as close to their actual color and texture. The SMG made the bold investment to buy the equipment so that small apparel/fashion businesses that need to prepare the new transformation into contactless e-commerce facing the COVID-19 situation.

    V-Commerce Studio is about 500 m² and comprises five large and small studios, including the studio with 360-degree camera equipment. There are also professionals who can support the shooting and editing. It is also the best venue for live commerce as there is a large LED monitor, fitting room, and powder room in the central hall.

    Any Seoul-based businessperson of a fashion brand can use the studio through reservation on the V-Commerce Studio website on a first-come, first-served basis.
