The Seoul Metropolitan Government’s public art project and its crime prevention designs have won international design awards – the Society for Experimental Graphic Design which awards public design projects that have a positive social impact.
They actually gave that its top award for this year to Seongdong-gu district’s Skyline Wayfinding project.
The crime prevention project won the Sylvia Harris Award and Merit Award for adding addresses to the side of each building to help locate people in an emergency.
