I happened to read a banner hung on the walls of the Seoul Metropolitan Council in Taepyeong-ro that was a statement of the resolution and will of the council members to devote themselves to “nurturing the age of communication and integration.”
I would like to confirm, once again, that the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Metropolitan Council are exactly alike in their love for Seoul citizens and hope for the city’s development.
I believe there is no problem that we cannot tackle and solve when the city government and council are open to one another and share a collective wisdom.
I pledge here that I will try to fully communicate with the council members and carry out policies based on a mutual trust and sympathy for the next four years. I hope this occasion will serve as the momentum to have us move onwards together to make a “great Seoul.”
