    Located in Seoul Innovation Park, the Seoul Metropolitan Archives is an institution specialized in managing the records of Seoul which was established to share the values of records with the citizens. As the first permanent institution established by a local government to manage archives, it is comprised of both a reference room for archiving and an exhibition room. The Seoul Metropolitan Archives collects the records of the city’s administration and those of the citizens, manages the efforts and experiences contained within as documentary heritage, and shares them with the citizens. The institution aims to become a world-class archive where the records of Seoul and the memories of citizens converge. It operates various programs, including education on the preservation, recording, and management of records, exhibitions, lectures, seminars, and workshops.
