The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is featuring a special online and offline exhibition showcasing 120 photographs of mankind at its critical moment taken across the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic for the public to view at one venue. The Seoul International Photojournalism Exhibition “2020 Seoul of New Hope” will deliver a message of hope through images of people around the world who are courageously carrying on with life as they fight COVID-19. The main exhibition will address themes of chaos, desperation, courage and hope, and the special exhibition will present 120 pieces that show daily life in the midst of COVID-19 in six cities, including Seoul, New York, London, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Johannesburg. There will be 25 pieces on display on the facade of the Seoul Metropolitan Library, former Seoul City Hall building, and 25 pieces in Sangam Digital Media Street (DMS), while other photographs will be displayed as an online exhibition until Sun, Dec. 20.
