Having began in 1931, the ‘Seoul International Marathon’ is Korea’s only gold label competition where marathoners from all over the world compete for challenging the world record. The recent March 18th ‘2018 Seoul International Marathon’ was divided into a full-course (42.195km) and a 10km-course and had as many as 34,000 participants, 20,000 for the full course and 14,000 for the 10km-course, from 62 countries. Regardless of trying to establish any new world records, families and couples participated for fun in the 10km-course, running from the Olympic Park’s World Peace Gate to the Jamsil Sports Complex.
