The city of Seoul has opened a new hub for IT start-ups—specifically start-ups that could help solve urban problems like health, security, the environment and infectious diseases. The facility is in the district of Seongsu.
Up to 25 start-ups will be able to move in after an evaluation. They can stay for up to two years, paying monthly rent of just five dollars a square meter. There’s also space for mobile test beds and for investors who want to support businesses that have a positive impact on society.
