The city of Seoul is looking for non-Korean residents who have been role models to the capital’s citizens and international residents.
It’s accepting applications for honorary citizenship in recognition of contributions to the local community until July 19th.
Candidates need to have lived in Seoul for more than three consecutive years and made significant contributions to the city in one of many aspects, including culture, economy or science.
Those given honorary citizenship will be invited to official events and offered discounted admissions to the capital’s facilities.
Those interested can apply through the post or in person.
