SEOUL BAMDOKKAEBI NIGHT MARKET
A Dokkaebi, is a type of demon or ogre in Korean folklore, hence, the name of the night market which disappears by morning, goes by the name of the folklore character. The night market is currently being held at Yeouido Hangang Park’s Cascade Plaza every Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 11pm with plans to expand it to the DDP and Cheonggye Plaza in May and Mokdong Stadium in July. There will be number of performances at the night market including both traditional and modern, as well as 30 food trucks and 70 general market stalls. With the backdrop of the Hangang River and the glittering night lights of Seoul, the night market is well worth visiting.
