  • Seoul BroadCasting News SMG 198
Public transport here in Seoul this Lunar New Year will, for the first time, not have extended operating hours. This is to minimize the movement of people to hopefully reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the city will close the indoor areas of its cemeteries from February 6th to 7th and from 11th to 14th. Free transportation to the cemeteries will not operate either, but the city’s COVID-19 response facilities will run normally and screening centers will stay open as well. During the holidays, each districts will have at least one makeshift screening center open.
