Seokchon Lake, located in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, was formed by the Hangang reclamation project and features a 2.6-km walking trail frequented by many citizens for a stroll day and night. After Songpa Naru Park was established with its green space, walkways and places to relax around the lake, Seokchon Lake became a place for citizens to visit and relax. Seokchon Lake is an artificial lake that covers over 200,000 square meters, and is divided into eastern and western sections. There are many attractions and things to do around Seokchon Lake, including Seoul’s famous landmark of Lotte World Tower as well as Lotte World, Songnidan-gil, Bangi-dong Food Street, Jamsil Sports Complex and Olympic Park.
