The “Royal Works” exhibition will be held at Unhyeongung Palace from May 24 (Sat) to June 15 (Sun). Unhyeongung Palace was the private residence of Heungseon Daewongun Lee Ha-eung, and was also where Emperor Gojong, the 26th king of Joseon and the first emperor of the Great Han Empire, lived until he was 12 years old, before he was enthroned.

The exhibition was prepared by three experts specializing in different traditional crafts to share the significance and beauty of Korean culture. Main pieces at the exhibit include yellow lacquerware, letter carvings, and jewelry once worn by royalty.
