  • To develop from analog and digital safety systems to a smart safety system
  • To encourage social participation in prevention of spy cams

■ Master Plan

Smart One-stop Safety Network

  • To link smartphones, CCTVs, and the integrated control center in real time
  • To pilot in 5 districts in 2016, and then expand to all districts by 2017

Smart One-stop Safety Network

  • Period for Development: Mar. 2016 – Sep. 2016
  • To respond to emergencies indoors (trespassing, domestic violence, etc.)
  • Service Process in case of emergencies (Ansimi Service)

CCTV Improvement

  • Schedule: 2016 – 2020
  • To replace all the old CCTVs (below 1 million pixels) with 2 million pixels or more, approximately 9,500 units

Service Schedule

  • Schedule: To pilot in 5 districts in 2016 and to expand to all districts in 2017
  • CCTV 24-hour monitoring within the districts

Preventive Measures against Spy Cams

Spy Cam Inspection Team

Women-oriented spy cam inspection team linked with the social jobs for women project.

  • Schedule: Jul. 2016 – Dec. 2016
  • Regular inspection in places vulnerable to spy cams, such as public offices, subway stations, and public restrooms

Spy Cam Preventive Education

  • Schedule: Apr. 2016 – Dec. 2016
  • Preparation and distribution of education promotional materials including video clips, webtoons, posts, and banners
  • Education program linked to freshmen orientations of universities

Anti-spy Cam Men’s Action Group

  • Schedule: Apr. 2016 – Dec. 2016
  • Men’s action group to prevent spy cams (Approximately 50 men)
  • Monitoring and reporting websites for sharing videos of spy cams
  • Drawing social awareness and participation through recognition improvement campaigns
