Foreigners in Seoul Monitoring Group is a regular monitoring group that makes suggestions to improve life for foreign residents in Seoul and identify outstanding overseas policies to apply them to the administrative affairs of Seoul. The group has been monitoring various aspects of living in Seoul since 2012.
In 2016, 336 suggestions were made by 90 foreign residents from 31 countries and 10 Korean translators and some of them were accepted. The foreigners in Seoul Monitoring Group makes policy suggestions and also participates in administrative affair tours and Korean culture and history-experiencing programs to act as Seoul ambassadors that will introduce the history and culture of Korea to other foreigners.
