“It’s good to know that spring is just around the corner, right? Here’s some news about a wedding. Who’s getting married? None. No one’s getting married. It’s about a demo session on a traditional Korean wedding to be held at the Seoul Citizens’ Hall……”
the foregoing is part of an e-mail from ms. lee na-mi, a designer whom i admire very much.
it is an introduction of a demo session on a traditional korean wedding to be held at the seoul citizens’ hall at 4:00 pm on february 28. i am happy that there are people making efforts to maintain the country’s old tradition, and that the city hall can be used for such a significant event. did you know that the building was used for a couple who had an environment-friendly wedding ceremony on january 12 this year as a “historical” event?
ms. lee na-mi was the one who did the design of the citizens’ hall together with mr. eun byeong-su at my request and came up with the details concerning the use of the city hall as a wedding hall. i am not the bridegroom, yet i feel a little excited about the wedding-related event prepared by ms. lee na-mi; i will definitely be there on february 28.
