    Poetic Seoul Seoul music discovery

    The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) held a special online concert on Fri, Nov. 13, 2020 to harmonize emotive music and literature at natural attractions and poetic spaces in Seoul where you can feel the deepening autumn.

    At Haneul Park, AKMU showed their hit songs that match the season of autumn. At Seoul Book Bogo, AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk will recite impressive passages from his bestselling Fish in the Water, and sing the homonymous song. At Nodeul Island, singer Yang Hui-eun and essayist Jeong Jae-chan will give a performance and talk show under the theme of “A Poem that Became a Song.”

    The SMG announced that it will unveil the 3rd Seoul Music Discover: Poetic Seoul at 7 PM, Fri, Nov. 13, 2020. You can watch it on YouTube (SMG, Munhwaro Todaktodak, The K-pop) and NAVER V Live (Seoul x Music Discovery). It will also be broadcast on SBS MTV and SBS F!L at 10 PM, Sat, Nov. 21, 2020.

    Seoul Music Discovery is an online concert through which you can have special fun of enjoying the performances of singers and artists of various genres as well as famous places in Seoul. Starting in October 2020, the SMG will be releasing a total of five episodes until the end of the year.

    Episode 4, Infinite Seoul, which will be released on Fri, Nov. 27, 2020 will let the audience understand the chronology of Korean music while listening to the stories of various artists who have been working in meaningful music spaces and in Seoul.

    The finale of episode 5, Hallyu Seoul, will contain the collaboration of K-pop and the large-scale Korean traditional music orchestra at landmarks in Seoul, such as at a palace, in Namsan Mountain, and by the Hangang River. The list of K-pop artists will be unveiled in the second week of December.
