#. The prolonged “social distancing,” which was enforced to prevent the spread of COVID-19, has led to more time spent at home. With the blooming of spring flowers and the arrival of the season perfect for outdoor activities, the number of frustrated citizens has increased, resulting in the newly coined phrase, “Corona blues (coronavirus + the blues).” When feeling down, enjoy fun performances online at home, appreciate valuable exhibitions, and throw away the blues! Online culture and art programs at Seoul’s cultural facilities continue in April.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government recommends online culture and art programs to ease frustrations with the prolonged COVID-19 situation. For the first time ever, an online performance will be held at the Korean folk music venue, Seoul Namsan Traditional Theater, and online content will continue to be available from cultural facilities that remained closed like the Donuimun Museum Village and Seoul Metropolitan Library.
