On December 18 and 19, the MICE Job Fair, where people can get recruitment information and receive job consultations from over 30 companies, including the COEX, Exporum, Korea E&Ex Inc.,K.Fairs, Korea Trade Fairs, and Unimotto, will be held in COEX.
This job fair will be an opportunity for people to learn more about the MICE industry, which is a high value-added, future growth industry that will have a significant economic spillover effect and create a large number of jobs in Korea. Furthermore, it will be a chance for Korea to once again review the competitiveness of Seoul’s MICE Industry.
Previously, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced its plan to turn the area surrounding the COEX and Jamsil Stadium into an “Urban MICE Cluster” in order to establish necessary MICE infrastructure in Seoul, which was the city that hosted the fifth highest number of international conferences between 2010 and 2012. Seoul was also named the world’s Fourth Convention City in 2013.
The job fair will consist of three sections: the MICE Job Fair, where about 30 companies will provide their recruitment information, the MICE Industry 1:1 Mentoring Session, and the MICE Job Consulting Session, where job seekers will be able to learn about writing resumes and personal statements to find work in the MICE industry.
