  • Recognizing the Bravery of Medical Professionals Who Stay by their Patient’s Sides

“MERS is a difficult problem, but I’m worried that those who are sick might avoid coming to the hospital and end up letting their disease progress.” This is the concern shared by every medical professional at the hospitals I have visited.

Based on this concern, and in order to address the needs of all patients, we made a list of “designated MERS clinics” and “MERS-free hospitals,” which general patients can visit without worrying about contracting MERS.
By visiting hospitals every day, I have been putting myself in the people’s shoes.

We will contain this outbreak and restore normalcy to your daily lives.
Now, I would like to recognize the bravery of all medical professionals who have been caring for our citizen’s with great determination, staying by their patients’ sides throughout this difficult time.

Today, I will be visiting yet another hospital—Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital.
