It’s raining at the Daejeon National Cemetery.
Today marks the fourth anniversary of the sinking of the Cheonan warship.
As the mayor of Seoul, the chairman of the Seoul Integrated Defense Central Council, and one of the citizens of Korea for whom Warrant Officer Han Juho and his 46 crew members gave up their lives to protect, I made a pledge, at the graves of patriotic martyrs, to uphold my duties and ensure the safety and stability of the people of Seoul.
Those who forget their past forfeit their future.
We will never forget the sacrifice that these brave citizens have made for our country.
Dear citizens of Seoul, please take some time this afternoon to join with me in a moment of silence to honor Warrant Officer Han Juho and the 46 crew members of the Cheonan warship.
