You’ve had another hectic day, right? Here’s a quick question for you: What day is it today?
A sharp-sighted person might guess the answer easily. On this day, August 28, in 1963 Martin Luther King Jr. helped organized the March on Washington in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation and made his famous “I have a dream” speech.
The photo below was one taken at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation of Jacksonville, Florida on my way back home from a business trip to South America. They carried my picture on their home page and sent me a letter of thanks for visiting them.
I always try not to forget the resolution I made upon being elected as Seoul’s mayor that I would be a mayor who makes people’s dreams come true.
What is your dream?
