The contractors strike back! – Isn’t that an interesting title?
We are going to gather our contractors to hear what they have to say about working for Seoul Metropolitan Government.
I ask all of you to say anything and everything you would like to get off your chest.
Seoul Metropolitan Government is hosting the Company of Hope Sales and Contract Improvement Policies Meeting to hear the contractors’ side of the story and address shortcomings in the contracting business.

The policy meeting will be held at the 8F auditorium of Seoul City Hall at 10:00 in the morning on April 2. All the contracting-related department heads and I will be there, too.
Director of Finance Park Geun Su will be talking about More Public Procurement and Improving Contract Policies. On the other hand, Lee Bi O, Director of Construction Management from the Seoul Metropolitan Infrastructure Headquarters, will brief the participants on Improving Contractor Working Environment Project Results and Future Direction.

Note, however, that the stars of the meeting will be the contractors, the people who did not get a chance to speak out about their rights.
Anyone who comes to the meeting will have a chance to voice their complaints regarding the process of signing a contract.

Again, we will adhere to the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s principle of sharing everything with the public.

The meeting will be available on Live Seoul (http://tv.seoul.go.kr/), Live Won Soon (http://mayors.seoul.go.kr/wonsoontv) and U-stream (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/seoullive).
You can browse the list of Seoul’s contractors on Clean Financial System at http://cleanplus.seoul.go.kr/ .

Soon, more information on the changes made to the contracts, payments, and G2B contract contents will be available for the public.

We will do our best to make seoulites the owner of a governing system that is based on reason and common sense.
