The International Forum on Transforming Cities for Decent Work 2019 took place with the participation of about 30 domestic and overseas cities including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Sao Paulo, and Wellington. At the forum, cities shared their advanced labor policies and Seoul pursued the establishment of the Decent Work City Network (DWCN), the first international organization of cities in the field of labor.
For two days, the forum dealt with thematic sessions including the ▴ Universal Social Protection and Guarantee of Rights, ▴ Decent Wage and Equal Opportunities in the Labor Market, ▴ Fundamental Working Rights and Protection of Safety and Health at Work, ▴ Platform Work and Work of Tomorrow, and more in order to shed light on the roles and tasks of cities for the protection of laborers’ rights and interests in this rapidly transforming labor market.
