    Reason : To establish a sustainable social distancing system with autonomy and responsibility
    Effective : July 12, 2021
    Major changes

    • ▸Simplified levels and adjusted level change criteria
    • ▸Changed capacity limit for gatherings per level
    • ▸Changed restrictions for multi-use facilities depending on risk
    • ▸Strict penalties for violation of COVID-19 protocol, zero tolerance for violators, etc.

    5. Stronger responsibility for protocol by individuals and facilities

    ○ Stronger penalties for any protocol violation by individuals

    • – Excluded from financial assistance if infected and confirmed after violating the protocol. Seek compensation if there is a cluster infection due to any protocol violation (by any individual, or group)

    ○ Stronger responsibility and facility control, and zero tolerance policy

    • – Given an order of two-week gathering ban for any business violating the protocol
    • – Excluded from any subsidy, such as loss compensation or stimulus checks, if a cluster infection occurs in any business violating the protocol

    6. Social Distancing Rules to Change after August 9
