Ihwa-dong Mural Village, situated at the foot of Naksan Park, became what it is today through the “Naksan Project” public art campaign held in 2006 where artists, university students and volunteers came together to create paintings and sculptures throughout the village.

With an endless array of impressive artwork all over the walls and stairs, visitors find joy and excitement at every nook and cranny of the village. It is said that the panoramic view of Seoul from Ihwa-dong is so breathtaking that it was one of the top five spots that aristocrats of the Joseon dynasty enjoyed visiting. Once you climb all the way up the stairs, you will be rewarded with an unforgettably stunning panoramic view of Seoul with the Namsan Seoul Tower and the sunset in the distance.

How about climbing up the stairs of Ihwa-dong Mural Village one step at a time in search of relaxation at the peak?
