Eungbongsan Mountain is known as the place where the spring flower forsythia blooms first in Seoul City before anywhere else. ‘Eungbongsan Forsythia Festival’ has been held every spring in time for the flowering of forsythias. At the 21st Eungbongsan Forsythia Festival (held for 3 days from April 6, 2018 to April 8, 2018), various types of activities and sightseeing were offered including a variety of performances and drawing contests, dance competitions, poetry readings, etc. In addition, rock climbing experience, LED balloon flying and a colorful array of unit events and refreshments were prepared. Meanwhile, the festival location of Eungbongsan Palgakjeong Pavilion is a well-known location for watching the new year’s sunrise, as well as a popular location for nocturnal photo shoot of photographers.
