○ Objectives

  • - Prepare for “step-by-step recovery” by administering vaccines to 90% of elderly and 80% of adults.
  • - Increase the vaccination rate and expand the immunized population by making vaccines available for unvaccinated people.
  • - Prevent infection, severe illnesses, death, and prepare for mutations by increasing the vaccination rate.
  • - Prepare for safe inoculation base along with the expansion of target population for vaccination (young adolescents and pregnant women).
  • - Strengthen protection of high-risk population through booster shots.

  • - Prioritize administration to high-risk population first to prevent severe illnesses and death, maintain medical functions, and then administer to the general population

  • Phase 1 – (After October): Administer to immunocompromised individuals, seniors aged 60 and older, workers of hospital-level or higher medical institutions (including COVID-19 treatment clinics) and facilities vulnerable to infection or outbreaks.
    • ※Because phase 1 targets high-risk facilities, individuals who do not currently work or stay as a patient are not included.
    • * However, if relocating to a similar institution, individuals can receive booster shots with their current institution.
  • Phase 2 – (After December): Establish detailed vaccination plan for the general population including essential workers.
