  • Culture & Tourism news SMG 3907

From September 25 to October 9, 26 “short” short films will be screened on Seoul Metro Lines 2 and 3.

The 26 films that have been selected for screening are 90-second films that were produced specifically to be played on subway trains. These Korean and foreign films were submitted in May, and the finalists were selected after the preliminaries in August. A total of 967 films from 41 different countries were submitted for the preliminaries. Among those, 20 films from foreign countries, including Germany and France, were selected as finalists in the International Competition category, and six Korean films were chosen in the Korean Competition category.

The winners in the two categories will be selected from among the 26 finalists through public online voting, and events will be held for the online voters as well.

The 90-second “short” short films are ideal for commuters to enjoy on brief subway rides, and are expected to provide a different type of entertainment for Seoul citizens.
