2020 Seokchon Lake Fall Foliage Festival was held around Seokchon East Lake for a week from Fri, Oct. 30 to Fri, Nov. 6 under the theme of “2020 dyed with hope” as a walk-thru event in compliance with social distancing regulations due to COVID-19. Lanterns made of hanji (traditional Korean paper) were on installed for display all throughout the lake—featuring some key attractions of Seokchon Lake, such as its fish and the famous Supermoon. Visitors were able to take picturesque photos at the photo zone to remember this special autumn event. Moreover, various programs were available for citizens to enjoy, such as a lighting ceremony of the decorative lights around Seokchon Lake and busking performances at Sutnae Plaza on Songpa Trail.
