    home page Previous newsletter home page 페이스북 twitter instagram youtube Additional Installation of Temporary Screening Clinics for Citizens’ Free COVID-19 Testing The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) will sequentially install and operate 56 temporary screening clinics for citizens to get free anonymous COVID-19 tests regardless of symptoms in order to block the spread of COVID-19 in Seoul, which has recorded the highest daily confirmed cases. Until now, citizens were able get tested for COVID-19 at designated screening clinics―albeit difficult―only after the results of epidemiological surveillance on confirmed cases and their pertinence thereof. Now, with the additional installation of temporary screening clinics, free anonymous COVID-19 testing is available to all citizens regardless if they show symptoms or not. Moreover, saliva tests and rapid antigen tests are also available in addition to the PCR testing of nasal swab specimen collection. “I SEOUL U” Displayed at Gimpo Int’l Airport and Nodeulseom Island In December 2020, the Seoul Metropolitan Government installed I·SEOUL·U figures of Seoul’s brand in Gimpo International Airport, the gateway of the air to Seoul, and Nodeulseom Island, a growing complex cultural space.
