2018 Hangang Drone Festival to be held April 28 at Drone Park in Seoul
- – Seoul Digital Foundation to hold the 2018 Hangang Drone Festival at Drone Park in the neighborhood of Gwangnaru
- – The festival features a Do-It-Yourself drone event, a drone air show, and a drone professional racing competition
- – The “I Am A Drone Racer” event where 300 elementary and middle school students participate to take place during the festival
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, April 24, 2018 – In a bid to promote the drone industry, one of the promising technologies for the next generation, the Seoul Digital Foundation will hold the 2018 Hangang Drone Festival at Hangang Drone Park in the neighborhood of Gwangnaru on April 28, 2018.
The festival features a Do-It-Yourself drone event, a drone air show, and a drone professional racing competition, where 32 top players of Korea will compete in the straight knockout tournament. All tournaments can be watched free of charge on the spot.
In addition, there will be programs that citizens and visitors are able to learn how to fly and operate a drone from professional instructors of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and get the information on drone jobs.
