2015 SEOUL KIMCHI MAKING & SHARING FESTIVAL

The Seoul Kimchi Making & Sharing Festival was held from November 6 to 8 at various locations in downtown Seoul, including City Hall Plaza and Gwanghwamun Square. Now in its second year, the festival is one of Korea’s largest food festivals, celebrating the Korean custom of preparing kimchi (fermented vegetables and national dish of Korea) for the winter. The highlights of the festival included kimchi-making classes, a market selling various traditional foods, and a wide variety of performances.
