The 1890 Namsangol Night Market is a themed night market with plenty to eat and see held at the Namsangol Hanok Village until October. The market is built to resemble Seoul during the enlightenment period in the 1890s in which the traditions of Korea and western culture came together at a late Joseon Period marketplace. At the market, a foreigner-exclusive program will be operated to provide them with an opportunity to see the various cultures of Hanyang, the old name of Seoul when it was the capital of Joseon. The Namsangol Vacance will also be operated until August 31 for those who wish to enjoy a nap and read comic books at hanok buildings in Namsangol.
